Rick Green, a Vancouver based freelance writer who specializes in beer culture, appreciation and education, will join us for an evening of great food and beer pairing. Rick has written for Northwest Brewing News, What’s Brewing, The Georgia Straight, and Edible Vancouver. He publishes the B.C. Beer Blog and a weekly e-newsletter on the Vancouver craft beer scene. Rick is currently President of the Campaign for Real Ale Vancouver.

We are excited to announce a new day and a new format for the 2008 VLTBC Kids’ Halloween Party!
This year’s party will be Wednesday October 29th from 5-7PM. All VLTBC Juniors and their Parents are invited to join us for a spooky Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt throughout the Club, and a Haunted Halloween Buffet.
There will be lots of exciting Halloween activities throughout the duration of the party. Kids and parents are encouraged to dress up. If you are already here for a lesson, make sure you don’t forget your costume to change into after! You can join in at any time!
The cost for the party is $15.00 which includes the buffet and all of the Halloween activities!
This year’s theme is HALLOWEEN! Please sign up at the front desk before Friday October 24th.
