The morning mixers are an ideal way for people to get to know fellow badminton enthusiasts and to play some non-competitive games. The matches are self-regulated and are all for fun!

ABC'S: Mondays 4:00 - 4:45 pm
Everyone is talking about our ABC'S program for 4 - 6 year olds. It is proving to be one of our most popular kids programs. It focuses on developing Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed appropriate to each individual's age and skill level. It involves not only developing body skills but also introduces the 'Fun'damental badminton hitting skills.
Badminton Canada Skills Award Program
This is also known as the ‘badge program’ because it involves kids learning a particular skill set and then achieving a measurable standard to receive a badge in recognition. Comprised of 6 distinct levels, this program is an ideal way to start your child off in badminton. While the beginning sets of badges require only weekly attendance, in Levels 3-6 players are encouraged to participate in Junior ladders as a way of developing skills through open learning.
Achievement Programs:
There are three levels in these programs known as Junior Development, Junior Competitive and Advanced Competitive. Another way to look at them may be that the players in these programs will have graduated from our skills award program and entered into city match play (Junior development). The next step is to provincial level in the Junior competitive programs and finally playing on the national scene with the Advanced Program.
Currently we have program participants who are National Junior Champions, College Gold Medalists as well as Two Pan Am Jr. Games Medalists (Gold and Bronze). If it’s competitive success you’re after, don't wait to get involved.
